How different cooking affects the nutrient content of our food

Do you know that different food give us different nutrients?

It is encouraged to take a rainbow of wholesome plant, fruits and vegetables daily to prevent many chronic diseases.

Beige / Brown vegetables and fruits

  • Cauliflowers, mushroom and the heart and stem of many vegetables

Vegetables in this group are rich in antioxidants like allicin, selenium and a variety of immune supporting vitamin and minerals.  


Orange / Yellow vegetables and fruits

  • Carrot, tangerine,yellow bell pepper and lemon peel

Vegetables and fruits that are orange and yellow contribute greatly to immune health because they contain exceptionally high levels of vitamin C and beta carotene.  Research shows that women who eat carotenoid rich vegetables can reduce breast cancer risk by 19%.

Red vegetables and fruits

  • Beeroot, red bell pepper, tomato, swiss chard and cherry

Fruits and vegetables which are red has lycopene, a phytochemical that reduces the risk of heart disease and prostate cancer.  Lycopene has been shown to lower LDL ("bad") cholesterol levels)

Green vegetables and fruits

Kid's adventure on taking public transport home from town

Last year around this time, I had to train Alyssa then 9 years old to take public transport to her enrichment classes as I just delivered baby Elijah and we were short handed.

This year Chinese New Year Eve, we started Zachary who is 8, to start taking bus home from school.  He is enjoying it as he can go home with his friends.

This week Zachary has class at Novena.  Today i fetched them there and had lunch with them at D'Life Signature.  As i had meeting after that so i took this opportunity to train them to take train and bus home together from Novena mrt to Tanjong Katong.

Club Med Bintan 19-23 Nov 2019

Their first holidays without us and 3rd holiday with their cousins.  Thanks to my sister and BIL for babysitting them. :)

Club Med is full of activities which you can enjoy as early as 9am to 10pm or 12 midnight.  With such exciting activities and schedule, and being on holidays, most people will have fun to the fullest therefor lack of sleep is inevitable.  

How do i keep my kids healthy even when on holidays?

Anlinna's fractured foot

After i pumped out my breastmilk, i RAN up the stairs to change my clothes to go for my Bible Study Fellowship.  Unfortunately, i tripped when i almost reached the top...

Saw the Orthopedic and told to put on this expensive shoe i ever have in my life, 1 side for $350 haha...

Reason for wearing cast or boot is to immobilize the injured area to avoid stretching, knocking and movement to that area.  The 1st couple of weeks are very important as our body self heal.  Usually for fracture, there is nothing much can be done.  Even with operation, it just shorten recovery by a couple of weeks only.  Our body has the ability to self heal.  To speed up self healing, a healthier immune system is important.  Our immune system is a very complex mechanism however with the right nutrients to our body we can effectively self defend, cleanse and repair ourselves and even prevent diseases and cancers!

I had my 2 weeks review on 24 Oct 2019, doctor said my healing was very good!  However i am strongly encourage to wear my boot for another 4 weeks due to the area which i injured my foot and i will be leaving to Australia for Christmas so i need to take extra care by moving less and staying healthy even with frequent night breastfeeding.

How did i improve so well these 2 weeks?

Can pregnant women and babies take Rosytime?

Can pregnant women and babies take Rosytime?
Of course!






Share with a short video of baby Elijah. He is 11 months old now. 😊

Baby Elijah was sick since Tue with dripping nose and feverish at night. Although no dripping nose since Thur, those 2 nights he had hard time sleeping and I barely slept too as he woke up hourly after 12 midnight...😳

Some people were curious and asked if baby Elijah takes Nutritional Immunology food.

Mummy has been taking Nutritional Immunology healthy breakfast to give the best quality breastmilk to baby Elijah.  This was his 1st time having bad flu and fever but last 2 days only.  Since Tue, I have been giving him Rosytime frequently to boost his immunity to self recovery. I'm glad that I did not resort to medication but manage with wholesome super food. Food for medicine. 

The most important thing here is, before I got to know the science of Nutritional Immunology, I used to feed medication myself to my kids when they were sick as I worried that my helper might give wrong medication or overdoze. Read more here.  Now I am worry free!  I let my helper and care giver feed Nutritional Immunology food to my baby and do not have to worry about wrong Nutritional Immunology food or overdose as the ingredients are just high quality and quantity wholesome freeze dried plant, fruits and vegetables!

Baby Elijah starts taking Rosytime at about 6 months old. Myself, all the way from before conceived and I get back in shape within 5 months with no diet program, exercise, massage.

Hand Food Mouth disease

Parents who have preschoolers drag experiencing HFMD.

What is HFMD all about?
According to Singhealth, it is an infectious disease caused by a family of viruses called Enteroviruses -- the commonest being the Coxsackie virus and Enterovirus. It can occur in people from various age groups, especially pre-schoolers. It is a very common disease in Singapore and has been in existence for many years. It is not a rare or new disease.

How can you prevent it?

Poor Diet~Poor Sleep


Are they interrelate?  Yes!!!
Study has shown that 
"Low fiber and high saturated fat and sugar intake is associated with lighter, less restorative sleep with more arousals."

Due to the poor diet mentioned above, sleep is affect.  Poor sleep pattern affects our immunity to function to its best ability which consequences are poor health, obesity and cardiovascular diseases. 

When one is sleep deprived, he tends to binge eating and having supper.  This therefore worsen the diet.

Ultimately, it becomes a vicious cycle.  Some people might gone into depression, resort to medication for sleeping problem, health failure etc.

In the Science of Nutritional Immunology, it study the relationship between the food we eat and our immune system.  The food we eat is directly link to our health.

Factors which affect our immune system are
- Unhealthy diet such as fried food
- Unhealthy lifestyle such as exposing to cancer causing agents
- Emotion such as stress
- Lack of exercise


Tips on how to improve your diet and sleep
1. Consume high fibre and protein diet in the morning as it is the most important meal of the day when we break fast
2. Cut back on sugar and juices
3. Cut down on caffeine as it impairs our repair function of our body
4. Avoid supper as it needs time to be digested
5. Stay hydrated with Chamoment
6. Walk at least 10 thousands steps a day
7. Stay positive! 😃
8. Constant learning as it keeps your brain active during the day.
