How to achieve healthy and luscious hair?

 Know of anyone experiencing

  • Dry and damage hair
  • Hair loss
  • Oily scalp
  • bald patches
  • Grey hair

Do you know that our our scalp is skin too!
We often overlook our scalp health, but we need to caring for it now.
Our scalp is some of the thickest skin on our body, and has more sebaceous glands (oil-producing glands) than most parts of our body.

The scalp can become inflamed due to many factors, such as infections, pollution, allergens, medical conditions, stress, insufficient sleep, sweat, UV radiation, and scalp microbiome imbalance. Scalp inflammation can damage hair folliclesand eventually cause hair loss.

Our scalp ages FAST.
Our scalp ages six times faster than the skin on our face, and 12 times faster than the skin on our body. As our scalp ages, our hair becomes thinner.

Our scalp is affected by our lifestyle.
Premature aging of the scalp can be caused by sun damage, inflammation, free radical damage, stress, medications, diet, and diseases. It can also be caused by chemicals, such as those used in hair coloring or bleaching.

Our scalp has a microbiome.
Our scalp is covered with thick, long hair, which creates a warm, dark, and humid environment where microbes thrive. The scalp microbiome consists of a diverse mix of bacteria that work
together to contribute to our scalp health.

If this delicate microbiome balance is thrown off, our scalp may experience irritation, redness, itch, inflammation, and in severe cases, hair loss.

Our Scalp and Oxygen

Oxygen is vital for active repair of damaged cells in thebody including dermal papilla in the hair follicle, which plays the main role in the regulation of hair growth.
